Tie-Dye Fundraiser Benefiting the NEPA Youth Shelter

WHERE: The Post Events & Ice Cream - 625 Deacon Street, Scranton, PA 18509

Get ready to unleash your creativity and make a colorful splash for a great cause! Join us at The Post Events & Ice Cream on Saturday, July 8th, from 1 pm to 3 pm for the Tie-Dye Fundraiser Benefiting the NEPA Youth Shelter. It's time to bring out your inner artist and transform your plain, old t-shirts into vibrant masterpieces. All you need to bring is your own tee (one (1) t-shirt per person, please) and we'll take care of the rest!

But that's not all: in exchange for tie-dying a shirt, we kindly ask that you bring donation items from the list of things needed below to support the NEPA Youth Shelter.

Can't find a physical item to donate? We'll be accepting monetary donations and they are also greatly appreciated! So mark your calendars, grab your friends and family, and let's come together to create art, spread joy, and make a difference at the Tie-Dye Fundraiser Benefiting the NEPA Youth Shelter!

List of Items Needed by the NEPA Youth Shelter:

  • Acne face wash & pads (no acne creams, please)
  • Men's knit boxer underwear - sizes M, L, & XL
  • Ladies bras - any size
  • Hair gels, pomades, & curl control products
  • Hair picks, combs, & brushes
  • Hair clips of any size (banana, mini & medium clips)
  • Headbands (fabric or plastic)
  • Nail clippers & files
  • Nail polish remover
  • ** Monetary donations will also be accepted!

Mother's Day Floral Arrangement Class at The Post

When: Sunday, May 14th, from 11AM to 1PM

  • Limited seats available

  • Reservations are required

  • Payment due upon reservation - will be taken over the phone

Your ticket includes:

  • A vase, ribbon, floral food, and fresh, cut flowers to construct your bouquet to take with you

  • A light brunch - fruit, pastries, coffee, and tea

  • BYOB - Bring your own bubbles & we'll take care of the rest with our mimosa bar!

  • Handouts on floral identification

  • Basic floral arrangement tools will be provided, but you can bring your own

  • An introductory lesson on floral arrangement design and color theory
